Since 2018, Tenuta Le Velette has been collaborating with the Deafal organization of Milan to bring organic and regenerative agriculture to the farm.
Aware of the need to make a change towards sustainability in our vineyards and fields, we are applying Organic and Regenerative Agriculture techniques on about twenty hectares of our land.

We are therefore introducing cover crops (green manure) to enrich our soils with organic matter and improve their structure. We bought a compactor roller, which allows us to incorporatethe green manure without working the soil. Our vineyards are nourished with fermented fortifying products produced on the farm. We started to transform wood chipsand waste from the cellar into compost that will be food for the vines. Organic and Regenerative Agriculture has put us in a position to look at our soils as an enormous capital to be enhanced and regenerated, and we try every day to do our best to bring this change into our wines and into everything produced by our farm.
